One of the many, many casualties of COVID-19, Adam Schlesinger's death is a huge loss for the pop music world. In addition to his brilliant work in the band Fountains of Wayne, he was also a founding member of Ivy (another great pop band), wrote the title track for the Tom Hanks film That Thing You Do, worked on the music for Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and much more.
