Crushed With Sarah Morisano

This week at the QuaranCinema, Ricky and Sarah breakdown Sydney Pollack's 1975 THREE DAYS OF THE CONDOR, currently streaming on Criterion Channel, and Nicholas Meyer's 1982 sci-fi classic STAR TREK II: THE WRATH OF KHAN. Sarah discovers Spock is Jewish and Ricky ponders more diverse casting what-ifs for predominantly white films. They also discuss Brad Pitt vs. Redford, Bette Davis vs. Joan Crawford, the Chicago White Sox, and how they brought the MLB to their living room for a safer-at-home day at the ballpark since baseball has been canceled due to the pandemic. 

This week's double feature is a fun one: Stephen Chow's 2004 KUNG FU HUSTLE and Bong Joon-Ho's 2006 THE HOST. Ricky and Sarah also discuss "The Last Dance," the new Michael Jordan doc on ESPN, Mike Rapaport (where you at, Rapaport!), Kathleen Turner, and PEGGY SUE GOT MARRIED versus BACK TO THE FUTURE.
