Episodes

  • HIMYM Finale - How I Regret Your Mother

    08/04/2014 Duration: 40min

In the first ever CODJ four-way, I am joined by Cracked contributors J.F. Sargent, Amanda Mannen, and Isaac Cabe to discuss the controversial and polarizing series finale of How I Met Your Mother. Should Robin and Barney have broken up? Was killing off the Mother the right move? Does anyone really care about Lily and Marshall at this point? Sarge explains what he thinks the series was really all about, I explain how I think the last season should have gone, Isaac pines for more Mother screen time, and Manna has a nervous breakdown over Barney and Robin. Whatever your feelings about the finale, you'll find someone to agree with. Podcast up!

  • Insane Pop Culture Theories - Beauty and the Bastard

    25/03/2014 Duration: 44min

Have you heard the one about how all the Pixar movies take place in the same universe? Or that crazy theory that James Bond is actually just a code name which is why different people keep playing him? This week, Cracked writers J.F. Sargent and Amanda Mannen sit down with me to discuss our own personal theories about pop culture touchstones. I explain how Forrest Gump might have actually been a genius in disguise, Manna tackles Beauty and the Beast to explain the shameful truth behind Chip's father, and Sarge predicts the shocking twist in the series finale of How I Met Your Mother. Stupid is as stupid does. Give it a listen.

  • Oscarbate - Part II

    25/03/2014 Duration: 38min

In this very belated episode of Carousel of Dick Jokes, I am once again joined by Dave Bell and Kathy Benjamin to discuss what we feel are the most unforgivable Oscar snubs. Dave explains why wartime is good for musicals (and a creepily accurate prediction for the winner of Best Original Screenplay; remember, this was recorded before the Oscars), Kathy tries to steer the conversation to Sherlock, and I declare the Shawshank Redemption to be the most snubbed movie in history.

  • Oscarbate - Part I

    04/03/2014 Duration: 39min

In this week's two-part Oscar episode, Cracked Columnist Kathy Benjamin and Cracked screenwriter Dave Bell join me to make wild speculations about who would be taking home this year's Oscars, all presented after the fact so you can see exactly how wrong we were. Kathy does an excellent job of telling us why Michael Fassbender won't be winning an Oscar (hint: it has nothing to do with him hanging dong), Dave makes an interesting point about newcomers with funny names that was shot to hell during the ceremony, and I unsuccessfully try to convince everyone that Gravity was overrated. Oh, and there are spoilers in this episode, so heads-up. Part II coming later this week!
