Synopsis
While in pharmacy school, I developed a greater appreciation for social media and the engagement/educational opportunities it could provide to the public. I also started to realize that Pharmacy, in general, is not a very well known or engaged community with the public on social platforms. Why is it that people eating Tide Pods or playing with fluffy dogs have gone viral, but knowledge and engagement of pharmacy havent? Many current platforms are targeted at those within the profession or other healthcare professionals, but often times not inclusive of the public. For these reasons we aim to provide a mix of both. Pharmacy Universe was built with the mission to socially educate and engage the world about #Pharmacy. Our vision is to make #Pharmacy go viral! A simple way to provide an entertaining platform, raise awareness, shape public perception, and learn. Please feel free to share this PodCast and our other pages with anyone and also subscribe for more! P.S. The Pharmacy Universe website is currently under construction!
