Welcome back to your favorite Indie Genre Podcast!  This week Zane and Joe bring the heat with a special "Livescreamers" episode with writer/director Michelle Iannantuono and actors Michael Smallwood and Evan Michael Pearce.  This film did NOT disappoint and the acting, directing and effects are superb; Michelle and the cast have done some amazing things! As a special bonus before the livescreaming begins your earbuds will get a special treat with some short live interviews done at GenreBlast including Jamal Hodge, Tim Troemner, Jeremy Herbert, Mike Lombardo, Chris Warner and last but certainly not least Joe Reilly.  All of these people have put together some amazing stuff so if you get the chance to see or read their stuff, DO IT!  

You are all in for a treat this week as the boys are back with one of their favorite episodes to record annually.  The best Indie film festival teams with the best Indie genre podcast!  That's right GenreBlast 8 is coming in less than a month!  Zane and Joe are joined by super special guest co-host Rakefet Abergel as they interview the man behind the Blast, Nathan Ludwig.  The gang discuss the 12 features and 99 shorts showing at the Alamo Drafthouse in Winchester, VA on Labor Day weekend.  This is a festival not to be missed so make you plans to get there!

The boys are back at it again this week as the welcome the Dynamic Duo that is the Barber Brothers, Nate and Matthew.  The guys discuss their new short film that is sure to make you feel claustrophobic entitled "Sempre Avanti" that will be showing at the TCL Chinese Theater in Los Angeles next Saturday June 24th!  If you have not witnessed the genius of these boys check them out at a film festival coming your way; everything they do is stellar!  So get ready as Zane shares his love of the "Baby Geniuses" franchise and Joe pitches his marketing to have Matt and Nate put there stuff on a Blu-ray for public consumption.

The boys have finally come out of hibernation!  Who brought them out you ask?  Why, none other than the awesome writer/director/actress Rakefet Abergel!  Rakefet discusses her upcoming short she is making entitled "Still" and how writing it was therapeutic to her.  The boys are up to their old tricks as Zane's head mysteriously floats and Joe pines for PJ, Max and Dan.  So go get your track shoes and sprint on over to where you listen to the apex predator of podcasts and prepare for consumption! Buckle up because Joe is back this week with a special guest host from the Lone Star State, Paul Adams.  Paul fills in admirably as Zane is off getting his hair did....again.  Back this week is favorite guests of the show, PJ Starks and Eric Huskisson as they discuss their current crowdfunding campaign for New Fear's Eve which sports a really cool villain concept; Plague Doctor meets Jack the Ripper.  The fellas also get into Halloween Ends and why it is so polarizing amongst its audience and Joe gets into why Terrifier 2 is so rad!  So buckle up for some Zane bashing, PJ-Eric love and Lance Wagner murder shed action as Paul tells people to stop being babies and make something original!

This week your two favorite gents are back as Zane and Joe grab a hold of Nathan and Matthew Barber's shorts and dig in!  If you have not seen any of the Barber Brother's shorts: "Go Back", "No One is Coming", "The Specter of Weeping Hill" or "Get Out of There"; you need to get a hold of them and implore them to share a way to see them!  The Matthew and Nathan are super cool dudes and Joe and Zane had great time chatting about their films and what makes them tick.  On the episode Zane may or may not be pants-less and Joe may or may not love PJ Starks.  You all heard it here first....THE BARBER BROTHERS ARE THE NEXT BIG THING! 

On this week's episode Zane got his hair and beard did and is finally back along with Cookie Lips Lombardo and Joe.  The guys get a boost with 3 guests this week to assist in the wrap up in the forms of the GB Guru Nate Ludwig and excellent writers/directors Jeremy Herbert and Tim Troemner.  Nate discusses the festival that was GB VII and what it was like producing his first feature for GenreBlast Films, "Worst Laid Plans", Jeremy speaks about the struggles and victories in doing his segment "Taylor Family Vacation '93" and Tim gets jacked as he talks about his awesome short "Swole Ghost".  Cookie Lips gets into what it was like watching the last 10 years of his life on screen in "The Brilliant Terror"; this one will take you on an emotional ride.  Also included in this episode are live interviews from GB VII with the Fabulous Barber Brothers and the most excellent Michael Smallwood (look for future feature length episodes with these fine gents).  Now get geared up and let Zane, Mike and Joe be the groove tha

Weeeeeeeeeee're baaaaaaaaaaack!!!!  What a way to come back with the annual GenreBlast episode.  Joe and Mike aka Cookie Lips welcome aboard Nathan Ludwig, Chad Farmer and Raygan Ketterer to get everyone stoked up for the festivities beginning on Thursday September 1 at 4 PM.  Some of the films are previewed including Justin Seaman's "The Barn2" and Jonathan Straiton's "Johnny Z".  As always the Indie Infestation podcast "Goes There" as Chad discusses his upcoming book "Earth Truckers are Easy" with subject matter that will make Justin proud,  Nate discusses his Love Potion and Handbook of Dark Fiction, Raygan talks about her haunted house, Mike asks you to Please Not Tap on the Glass and Joe signs his guitar picks for a special GenreBlast give away. 

Oh boy did your weekend just get taken up a few notches, that's right friends, it's the latest episode of Indie Infestation! This week Joe and Zane welcome the crew behind the film "The Andy Baker Tape" which is currently tearing up the Indie circuit. Director/Write/Actor Bret Lada and writer/producer/actor Dustin Fontaine join the fellas and let them in on the inner workings of the Jeff/Andy dichotomous relationship that makes the film thrive. Zane finally meets his hair match in Bret, Dustin sheds his beard and gets Blue and Joe reveals the true inspiration for young Seth's phallic drawings in "Superbad".

The boys are back for their annual GenreBlast Extravaganza with fetival gurus Nathan Ludwig, Raygan Ketterer and Chad Farmer.  GenreBlast is a can't miss film festival at the Alamo Draft House in Winchester, VA from Thursday through Monday over Labor Day weekend.  Nate and Chad talk about some of their favorites as well is how hard it is to pick from over 1200 submissions.  Zane talks about what it's like to be Teen Wolf's dad, John talks about his effects in "Ghost Note" and Joe tells of his "Tipsy Tiki" experience.

Oh yes, what's better than weekend vibes?  How about early weekend vibes with the latest episode of Indie Infestation with actor and extraordinaire Jason Crowe!  If you've seen an independent horror film the  you've seen Jason.  He talks about what being "Jason" on a set means, his love of Kathy Bates, Laurie Metcalf and Cannonball.  Zane is in the dark and Joe breaks out in a sweat.

What up all? It is the day you've been waiting for, the release of the newest episode is upon you, HAPPY SATURDAY! This week Joe and Zane bring aboard the man behind the super short "Dead Air" writer/director Matt Sullivan. If you haven't seen "Dead Air" it's about some creepy happenings on Halloween night at a radio station with some rocking music with vocals provided by Matt's wife! The fellas get into some other awesomeness like The Mahoning Drive In and "Escape from New York"; Zane tries to lure Joe and Matt to his house and Joe gets closer to the mic.

We are back!  The long awaited 3rd anniversary episode number 70 is finally here to rock your weekend.  This week Joe and Zane welcome guests Michael Ballif, Jacob Perrett and Brad Twigg to talk about their segments in the upcoming third installment on the 10/31 franchise.  Michael talks about his favorite Goosebumps story, Jacob talks about the glowing reviews on Amazon Prime, Brad wants more little creature films, Zane talks up Michael's Only Fans page and Joe gets back into the swing of things.

Get your weekend kicked off early with the latest installment of Indie Infestation!  On this week's special episode Joe and Zane welcome aboard three fine guests in the forms of The Monster Man John Hale, Jeremy The Thing About Herbert and Mr. GenreBlast himself Nate Ludwig.  The guys talk the new endeavor that is GenreBlast Films and its first endeavor, the anthology film based on the book of short stories "Worst Laid Plans".  This week we learn about Nate's willingness to let a toddler shave his beard, you can ask John questions....he just won't answer, Jeremy's attempt to pull a "Bowfinger", you never question Zane and Joe's willingness to star in ane's new film franchise!  There are also plugs for the Mahoning Valley Drive In which boasts weekends with Joe Bob Briggs and a special Monster Squad weekend with Andre Gower!

This week Joe, Zane and John welcome aboard the talented team of Paul Ragsdale and Angie De Alba as the talk about "Slashlorette Party" and other excellent things. Angie wonders where the heck the ghoulie wearing the shirts and suspenders got to, Paul talks of his fear of toilets after seeing "Ghoulies" as a kid, John talks about bad indiegogos, Zane come up with new words like cuteify and talks about his friday night nude dude parties and Joe talks about a special chicken dish and plugs Justin and Scream Team being at Mad Monster Party in NC this weekend and Days of the Dead in Atlanta next weekend.

Welcome back to you dose of podcast excellence!  This week Joe and Zane welcome writer/director Mike Watt to the madness.  Mike talks about his project Exploitation Nation where he wants the Indie scene to unite and pay it forward at the cost of $0; just a 250 word essay on you and then another 250 on someone or some project you want to pay it forward to!  Zane talks about filming next to the Autobahn and long shoots and Joe learns about "Southland Tales".

On this week's episode the boy's welcome aboard writer/director Michael Ballif, the man, the myth, the legend behind Witching Season films as he talks about his new film "They Live Inside Us" as well as his anthology.  Michael talks about what it's like filming in a haunted house, Zane oozes over the blob and Joe removes his pants.

On this week's episode Joe and Zane head to the carnival with writer/director/actor Steve Rudzinski as they discuss "Caroushell" and other awesome things.  The guys geek out a bit over comic book films and what they are excited for.  The guys give a public service announcement for COVID-19 vaccinations, Zane does excellent show prep and Joe gives away Zane's craft services secrets.

The fellas are back for their first podcast of 2021 and they're killin' it with writer/director/producer Shawn Jones as the talk about his slasher film "Camp Killer".  Zane freezes up and performs puppet shows, Joe gives you the best horror of 2020 and the guys tell you their thoughts on 2020 and 2021 films.

Ho ho ho, an early Christmas Eve present has arrived, the latest episode of Indie Infestation featuring some of the creative minds behind the upcoming Scream Team Releasing release "13 Slays Till X-Mas".  The boys bring aboard PJ Starks, John Hale, Brittney Blanton and Eric Huskisson as they dive into the film amongst other topics including Brittney's first horror film she watched.
