As the 22nd anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attack approaches, there's a possible plea deal on the table to remove the death penalty against five of the remaining al-Qaeda terrorists currently serving time in Guantanamo Bay. The Pentagon and FBI notified some relatives of the nearly 3,000 people killed that day who expressed outrage over the prospect of the case ending short of a verdict. Dan had the latest.

A new policy at Worcester Catholic schools outlines that students must use pronouns that coincide with their biological sex. The policy also stated that bullying, harassment, or threats of violence will not be tolerated, and students must conduct themselves in a manner consistent with their biological sex. Dan asked the listeners their thoughts!

If the Supreme Court agrees, it will roll back the work the federal government has been doing for the past 7 years to make the pills more accessible. The Washington Commanders used to be known as the "Redskins" up until 2020. Now, a Native American group is petitioning to get the name changed back! According to the group, the name "Redskins" is "a status symbol for elite warriors." Do you think the Commanders should honor their request?

Attorney General Merrick Garland has appointed Federal Prosecutor David Weiss as special counsel in the Hunter Biden investigation. Garland’s announcement comes about 10 months after Weiss allegedly told FBI and IRS officials he lacked authority to charge Hunter outside of Delaware. Dan expanded upon this development.
