Surah [3:160]: “If Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى helps you, none can overcome you”.

Ali رضي الله عنه: “The smarter you become, the less you speak”. To say: “I don’t know” is half of knowledge. Ali رضي الله عنه: “Why does the children of Adam (a.s) engage in vanity? His beginning is a drop of semen, his end is a stinking corpse, he cannot sustain himself nor ward off death”.     Sacred Knowledge (S1) Hasan al-Basri (r.h) said the true scholars have these signs; They are Zaahids, they yearn for the Akhirah, they deeply understand the Deen and they are immense in their worship. The Messenger ﷺ advised Ali رضي الله عنه: “Consult with the fuqaha and the worshippers. Do not give your own opinion”. What is knowledge without worship? You have planted the tree but bore no fruit. Miracles involving Imam Abu Hanifa (r.h) take place.

Onto Sacred knowledge: Ali (a.s): “You must understand, knowledge is greater than riches. Knowledge guards you, but you have to guard riches. Knowledge increases, but riches decrease when you spend. Knowledge governs, riches need to be governed”. The Messenger ﷺ: “Do not give wisdom to those unworthy of it, just as you wouldn’t throw jewels to swines”.

    The Prophets (a.s) (S16) The Messenger ﷺ, the prism of perfection. Many have come and gone, but none have matched him ﷺ. He ﷺ put kings to shame. He ﷺ never sought fame. He ﷺ is al-Mustafa, the greatest of creation! Hasan Ibn Thaabit رضي الله عنه: “A person more handsome than you [ﷺ] my eyes never saw. One more beautiful a woman never bore. You were fashioned free from every flaw. It is as if you [ﷺ] were created the way you sought”. When the Messenger ﷺ was very ill he advised: “Take care of the earliest Muslims amongst you and their children [رضي الله عنهم]. If you fail to do so, Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى will not accept anything from your deeds”. Thus it is a must for us to love the Muhajireen رضي الله عنهم. The Companions رضي الله عنهم to us are like the stars. They burn bright. They left many years ago, yet still their light reaches us, guiding us through our journey.     The Prophets (a.s) (S15) The Messenger ﷺ would always forgive those who wronged him. The tribe of Muhaarib caused great harm to the Messenger ﷺ in the early days. When the tribe of Muhaarib came to him ﷺ in the year of delegations, the Messenger ﷺ did not mention any of their harm once! They accepted Islam and the Messenger ﷺ gave them all gifts. One man from their tribe called Huzayma Ibn Sawa رضي الله عنه didn’t have a beard. The Messenger ﷺ rubbed Huzayma’s رضي الله عنه face and a beard appeared! Was there a lizard companion of the Messenger? ﷺ A Bedouin says to the Messenger ﷺ: “I will not believe until this lizard believes!”. The Messenger ﷺ speaks to the lizard and it says: “I am here, at your service”. The lizard says: “You are the Messenger of The Lord of the worlds and the last of the Prophets [a.s]”.

    The Prophets (a.s) (S14) A glimpse into the Messenger’s ﷺ generosity: Rubayi bint Muazh رضي الله عنهم brings dates and cucumbers to the Messenger ﷺ. The Messenger ﷺ scoops up some jewels he received from Bahrain and gives it to her رضي الله عنها. Umm Sumbulah رضي الله عنها gives the Messenger ﷺ a gift which didn’t have much worth. In return, he ﷺ gives her رضي الله عنها some land between two mountains! The Messenger ﷺ lived an utmost ascetic life, however when it came to giving, he ﷺ put emperors to shame! A glimpse into some of the knowledge the Messenger ﷺ received.

    The Prophets (a.s) (S13) Abdullah Ibn Umar رضي الله عنهم: “I have not seen anyone more daring, generous, courages and better at shooting arrows than the Messenger ﷺ”. Ali رضي الله عنه: “We sought refuge behind the Messenger ﷺ when the fighting became fierce at Badr. He (ﷺ) was the strongest of men, he was the closest to the polytheists on the battlefield”. Anas رضي الله عنه states whenever the fighting became fierce, they (رضي الله عنهم) would seek refuge behind the Messenger ﷺ.

    The Prophets (a.s) (S12) Muazh Ibn Amr Ibn al-Jamooh رضي الله عنهم loses his arm at the battle of Badr. He brings it to the Messenger ﷺ. The Messenger ﷺ uses his blessed saliva and reattaches Muazh’s رضي الله عنه arm. Muazh Ibn Amr رضي الله عنهم lived on until the Khilafat of Uthmaan رضي الله عنه. The Messenger ﷺ performed many miracles even before he ﷺ proclaimed. One example is the story of his (ﷺ) wrestling match With Ruqana رضي الله عنه: Ruqana Ibn Abd Yazeed رضي الله عنه: He رضي الله عنه was from Banu Hashim, thus a cousin of the Messenger ﷺ. He رضي الله عنه was the undefeated wrestler amongst the Quraysh. The Messenger ﷺ defeats Ruqana رضي الله عنه three times without breaking a sweat!

    The Prophets (a.s) (S11) A new born baby was brought to the Messenger ﷺ and was wrapped in a sheet. The Messenger ﷺ asks: “Who am I?”. The infant replies: “You are the Messenger of Allah” (ﷺ). The Messenger ﷺ replied: “You have spoken the truth. May Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى bless you”. The Messenger ﷺ once stroked the head of a young Saa’ib رضي الله عنه in the middle, going from the front to the back, then he ﷺ supplicated for blessings for him. When Saa’ib رضي الله عنه grew older, all his hair turned white except the part with the Messenger ﷺ stroked, that part remained black. These blessed events were a regular occurrence in the life of the Messenger ﷺ. What a sight it would have been to see him ﷺ, to hear him ﷺ and be with him ﷺ.

    The Prophets (a.s) (S10) Abdullah Ibn Salaam رضي الله عنه: “Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى Has not created a creation more honourable to Him [سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى] than Muhammad ﷺ”. The Messenger ﷺ supplicated for his ummah’s forgiveness for hours. Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى accepts the dua but says that it doesn’t apply to social sinners. The Messenger ﷺ continues supplicating for us, then Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى accepts the dua that this ummah will be forgiven, even the social sinners. When the Messenger ﷺ went on the blessed night journey and ascended to the 7th Heaven, where Ibraaheem (a.s) was, he ﷺ read Salah and the entire ummah was there. One group in white garments prayed with him ﷺ, the other group in dusty garments got to observe this blessed sight.

    The Prophets (a.s) (S9) Ibraaheem (a.s) once said: “O my Lord سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى, it grieves me that I am the only one on the Earth that worships you”. Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى then sent down Angels (a.s) who prayed with Ibraaheem (a.s) and were with him. Ibraaheem (a.s) supplicates (Surah [14:36]): “O my Lord سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى, they [i.e the idols] have lead many astray. Those who follow me are of me, and those who disobey me, then surely You are All-Forgiving, Most Merciful”. Every year Prophet Ibraaheem (a.s) performed Hajj and he used the Buraaq. He along with his son Ismaaeel (a.s) performed Hajj on foot. Surah [60:4]: “There is for you an excellent example in Ibraaheem [a.s]”.

    The Prophets (a.s) (S8) The dua of our ancient father Nuh (a.s) for us. (Surah [71:28]) The house being referred to in this verse is Nuh’s (a.s) Masjid, located on mount Judee. There is a church there today, scholars mention one can pray here to receive the rewards. Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى knows best. Nuh (a.s) was sent to his people when he was 40. He preached for 950 years. He (a.s) lived for ~1,050 years, although there is a difference of opinion regarding this. The Messenger ﷺ: “The best of the children of Adam (a.s) are 5; Nuh, Ibraaheem, Musa, Eesa and Muhammad al-Mustafa [a.s]”.

The Angel of Death stations within The House of Dawood (A.S). The birds shield Prophet Dawood (A.S) from the sunlight as he's led to his final resting place. Prophet Sulayman (A.S) had knowledge of plants & trees and their healing abilities.

    The Prophets (a.s) (S7) Adam (a.s) lived for 1,000 years. He (a.s) was buried at the foot of mount Abu Qubais, which overlooks the Ka’ba. All of creation wept for 7 days upon the passing of Adam (a.s). Hawa رضي الله عنها passed away one year after Adam (a.s). Hawa رضي الله عنها would have twins everytime, one boy and one girl. There was one exception; when Sheath (a.s) was born. He was born alone, as he was the second Prophet (a.s). The Messenger ﷺ: “Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى sent down 104 tablets. 50 were received by Sheath (a.s)”. Only 80 believers رضي الله عنهم were on the Ark with Prophet Nuh (a.s). Nuh (a.s) was the first Messenger.

    The Prophets (a.s) (S6) Adam (a.s) was taught the acts of worship. He descended on a mountain in Sri Lanka. Hawa رضي الله عنها descended in Jeddah. Adam (a.s) performed Hajj 300 times and Umrah 700 times. He (a.s) performed Hajj 40 times on foot. Arafat is where our grandparents (a.s) reunited. It was also where the covenant was taken. Shaykh Albani (r.h) said that our fitrah is the remnant of the covenant that was taken.
