Into The Fryer- Ramblings From The Kitchen

Informações:

Synopsis

There are so many chefs with so many stories and each of them are as unique as a fingerprint! I want to tell their stories and have fun while doing it. I'll share some of my stories too. The good, the bad and the ugly. I want to share the stories of those whose story hasn't been told yet- the grinders, the badasses and the everyday people that make your plates come to life! We'll definitely laugh along the way, we may cry, we may shock you too, but most importantly I'm gonna tell it like it is!

  • hawk- episode 30

    25/07/2019 Duration: 23min

On July 20, 2019 I was given the opportunity to speak in honor of a great human being, Henry "Hawk" Levendusky.  Hawk was the father of one of my best friends, David Levendusky, and through the almost 35 years that I knew Hawk he treated me like one of the family.  David had asked me to read the beautiful words he'd written and to account in my own words the memories I had with his father.  This is the recording of that.  I was completely humbled and honored to be able to use my voice and memories as a conduit for my friend and his wonderful family.  Hawk was one of the best people I've ever known and I am a better man for having had him in my life. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/intothefryer/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/intothefryer/support

  • american food project- episode 25

    15/04/2019 Duration: 31min

I can't begin to tell you how excited I am and how on fire I am with life!!! I have been formulating and marinating an idea for a documentary for a little while and it is coming to fruition.  American Food will examine the lives of immigrant workers in the restaurant & food industries.  My plan is to bring to light the people behind the scenes and behind the food that we eat on a daily basis in our favorite establishments.  I want to dispel the myths that immigrant workers are taking jobs from people and actually how vital immigration is to our economy.  I hope you get a sense of how passionate I am on this topic and join me on the journey.  If you like this or any episodes of the podcast remember to subscribe.  If I could ask for a favor- please give me a review and rate the show... I would greatly appreciate it!  If you really like what I'm doing, then by all means, share it with friends and your inner circle.  Thank you, Matt --- Send in a voice message: https

  • cori cauble, pt 3- episode 23

    20/03/2019 Duration: 40min

Please enjoy the third and final segment of the conversation with my good friend, Cori Cauble.  I purposely left off an intro to this segment, because hey...what more can I say to introduce her.  I mean, really, this is the third segment(that's a little tongue & cheek, if you're wondering).  However, if I could offer a suggestion...Go back to part 1 and listen from start to finish.  I feel it's the best way to take it all in and get the most out of our conversation.  Cori's journey is an incredible one of perseverance, discovery and reinvention.  My hope is that the rest of you will find her as fascinating and intriguing as I do. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/intothefryer/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/intothefryer/support

  • cori cauble, part 1- episode 23

    23/02/2019 Duration: 40min

Cori is a long time friend of mine.  We met when I was about 20 years old and have been friends ever since.  We had a brief stint as co-workers that  we'll talk about, but most of the time I've known her has been as a friend.  She is a pattern healer, wellness guide as well as a Kundalini yoga instructor.  I've always enjoyed talking with her and this conversation is no different.  We spent over two hours talking.  Trust me when I say that we could have spent a great deal more time chatting it up.  She has a wonderful soul, a great perspective on life and is just an overall beautiful human being.  If you want to find out more about what she does and who she is visit her website: coricauble.com  Due to the length of our chat I am breaking this conversation up into three parts.  I hope you enjoy part 1. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/intothefryer/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/intothefryer/support
