  • TAKING THE POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE ROUTE

    25/03/2016 Duration: 02min

This is an excerpt from the book: Make Way for You.  Feel free to check it out: http://www.spuntoday.com/books   TAKING THE POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE ROUTE THINGS CAN always be worse, but they can always be better too. It’s up to you to decide which route to take when you reach that fork in your decision – making road. Of course things are going to happen that are out of your control or that set you off course and take you in a different direction than you intended to be going in … but that’s when your resolve and dedication to your path kick into over-drive … or doesn’t. It may seem nonsensical, but your mood and general outlook play a general guiding role in that. If you decide to beat yourself up and dwell on the negativity, you’re refusing to move forward. Even if you think you are, or are capable of still moving forward, you’re not. You’re fooling yourself. That negativity snowballs and grabs other negative aspects of your life and areas that you feel you can be doing better in, and brings them to the forefro

  • #042 – Multiple Sclerosis

    10/03/2016 Duration: 01h21min

March is Multiple Sclerosis awareness month. MS is an autoimmune disease in which the immune system eats away at the protective covering (Myelin Sheath) of the nerves throughout the Central Nervous System. Since the specific regions where the Myelin is damaged is random, symptoms experienced vary vastly. In this episode I speak with my fiancée Zoila, about her first hand experience of having MS. We cover her symptoms early on before she knew what was wrong, which ranged from extreme fatigue to limb numbness to losses of balance and bladder control issues. We spoke about the medications she has used; Glatiramer by injection (Copaxone) and Fingolimod (Gilenya). Millions of people around the world have been diagnosed with MS. Studies have shown anecdotal genetic links as well as environmental ones, but nothing concrete, hence it being dubbed the “mystery disease”. There is no known cause or cure. According to the Mayo Clinic, there are fewer than 200,000 U.S. cases per year. This is our attempt at spreading awar

  • How will you use your 24 Hours?

    06/03/2016 Duration: 01min

This is an excerpt from the book: Make Way for You.  Feel free to check it out: http://www.spuntoday.com/books   How will you use your 24 Hours? CATCH UP mode. You can’t really make up for lost time … it’s over, it’s done. But you can absolutely change your downward trajectory and begin to aim upward. Get yourself into a groove. Into the zone. Your zone. Where only you can be. A one person, unique membership. A one-of-a-kind place whose replica doesn’t exist. It can’t exist. You make it what it is, what it can be and what it can’t be. No more excuses. Find the time. Make the time for whatever it is that you need to do for you. Whatever goal you have. Begin to put in the work … now. No, literally right now. We all get 24 hours each day … how will you choose to use yours?   Music: Possible by Ross Bugden: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BY0U432m8W0

  • Let Yourself Out

    06/03/2016 Duration: 01min

This is an excerpt from the book: Make Way for You.  Feel free to check it out: http://www.spuntoday.com/books   Let Yourself Out THE GREATEST version of yourself is dying to come out. It’s practically oozing out of your pores. But you stifle it. You stop it. You postpone it. You get in your own way, piling up hurdle upon hurdle, instead of clearing the path to allow you to rise from the ashes of your unfulfilled self. Break that trend and stop that trajectory. You’re digging a hole so deep for yourself that before you know it - will become the grave of the life that could’ve been. Build up to the you that you need to become. We elevate each other by lifting ourselves. It’s your duty, your calling not to squander it. We’re all in this together but it begins and ends with you. Don’t waste that talent. Nurture it and allow it to have the everlasting ripple-effect impact that it was meant to have. Throw a pebble of effort into the pool of the universe each day … and lets get started.   Music: Without Limits by R
